Granted, a very powerful word, feeling, and right,
If I granted you the right to be in my circle of friends
I have invited all my friends to get to know you
In doing so, I have extended part of myself through you
to them.
For my circle of friends, are extensions of
Who I am
Who I was
And who I may become
Granted, we may only know one another
For a short period of time in this world
But you and I shell makes the most of it
Cherish it, respect it, and saver it
Don’t take for granted, our friendship
And think you could do no wrong
Don’t take for granted, I will forgive you
Should you bring us any harm.
Don’t take for granted, that I love you
For I will tell you so
Don’t take for granted, that I hate you at this time
For I will also tell you so
Granted, we may or may not be friends
But I will not take you for granted
For you gave me these same rights.
